After that is done you will need to upload the contents inside the upload folder into your root Xenforo directory. You will then need to install the .xml file. Click Choose File and select the .xml file that you found in the .zip folder. Congratulations! You have now added [TH] Monetize Lite. Installing [BD] Paygates If you plan on using the Packages feature of [AD] Monetize Pro to sell ad space on your site, you will next need to download and install [BD] Paygates. [AD] Monetize Pro uses paygates for a secure method of payment between the users and yourself. (Note: If you do not intend to sell ad space to the users of your forum, you may skip this section and start creating your Advertisements now.) Your first step is to download the add-on from the XenForo Community. Once you are logged in to XenForo, Click Here to be directed to the [BD] Paygates download page. Click the Download Now button, and save the files somewhere you are familiar with on your computer. Next, you will want to extract the files. After that is done you will need to upload the contents inside the upload folder into your root XenForo directory. You will then need to install the .xml file. To install the .xml file, login to your XenForo admin control panel. Navigate to Install Add-on under the Add-ons section in your navigation. To install you can either a.) drag and drop the .xml file onto the "Choose File" button, or b.) search for the .xml file after clicking on the button. Congratulations! Creating an Ad To create an ad using the [AD] Monetize Lite add-on, navigate to Advertisement Manager, Advertisement List and click "Create New Advertisement." The types of ads allowed are image/text links, HTML, Google AdSense, and Google DFP. Ads can be enabled or disabled for later use. To set the run time for an ad, you must uncheck "advertisement is indefinite," and fill in the dates below. Advertisement ID The Advertisement ID is a unique identifier to allow the software to find the specific ad. IDs may not have spaces. Advertisement Type Advertisements may be image/text links, html, Google Adsense, or Google DFP. Advertisement Owner This field is only applicable to ads from users of the forum. The owner field must match a current user. If the ad is not from a user, this field should be left blank. (Note: this field is primarily used for users purchasing ad space from the front-end.) Weight The weight of an advertisement sets the rate at which the ad will occur. (i.e. one ad set at a weight of 2 will appear twice as often as an ad in the same zone set at a weight of 1.) The suggested values for weight are multiples of 10 (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, etc..) Weight only affects ads that are in the same zone. Weight does not affect grouping. If ads in a specific zone are set to rotate, you can choose to "enable weight based rotation" in options. Advertisement Permissions Allow and disallow different usergroups on viewing your advertisements. If you have an advertisement that you only want a certain user group to view then you may do so with this setting. User Criteria Allow different options to be able to view this add, from a certain post count, being a guest, and much more. Custom User Field Criteria Allow those with a different custom user field to view an advertisement that relates to them only.
